Accounting Manager Job Description:

A leading Commercial General Contractor is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team!

Accounting Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, including job costing and project financials.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist in strategic financial planning and provide insights to senior management.

Accounting Manager Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in the construction industry, specifically with a commercial general contractor, is required.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
