The Parts Team Lead performs multiple tasks related to branch retail trailer parts and accessory inventory coordination. Responsible for helping customers in identifying the parts and assemblies of new and used trailers for the purpose of replacement or repair of such items. Time is also spent assisting the Parts Manager with training of parts associates and other warehouse inventory maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Provides excellent customer service and communication for customer support by resolving their technical issues via phone, email, fax or online.
Accurately identify OEM part based on product specifications, VIN numbers, microfiche and paper files.
Investigate customer issues regarding part verification and delivery.
Participate in training, cycle counts, and inventory management.
Keeping shop work area clean, safe and organized.
Safely drive company vehicles to deliver the right product on time which requires loading, unloading, and delivery of parts with efficiency.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS):
Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience within a parts department.
Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with management, mechanics, customers and vendors.
Ability to work with hands to perform organization of inventory, use of power tools, and driving of company vehicle and or forklifts.
Proficient with computers, data entry and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to assist with installing, loading/unloading of parts requiring the ability to lift up to 50Ibs.
Valid Driver's License.
A favorable background screening, physical, drug screening, and proof of work authorization in the United States is required for employment.
