Technical expertise in processing payroll and benefits.



Able to develop and maintain HR reports.





A DAY IN THE LIFE



Performs a variety of technical payroll and benefits tasks.



Generates a variety of reports.



Maintains workers compensation records.



Manages unemployment claims.

Providing support to our customers - also known as our team members.





ESSENTIAL PAYROLL FUNCTIONS



Process new hires, terminations, and changes into the time and attendance and payroll systems. Ensures all demographic and profile data is accurate and complete.



Review timesheets. Verify for accuracy.



Process bi-weekly payroll. Print and review payroll transaction reports to ensure for accuracy of data. Identify and correct errors. Generate the payroll register. Review and process data including changes in pay, hours, location, supervisor, deductions, accruals, and employment type status.



Investigate employee payroll questions and concerns.



Ensure that reports and records are filed and maintained.



Process and submit wage garnishments.



Manage unemployment claims and appeals.





ESSENTIAL BENEFIT FUNCTIONS



Handle routine benefits inquiries. Investigate issues and concerns.



Assist with preparation of open enrollment materials. Assist with on-site open enrollment meetings.



Is knowledgeable on FMLA and FLSA programs.



Perform on-going audits of benefits to ensure accuracy.





DEFINITION OF SUCCESS AND IMPACT

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



BS in business or HR preferred.



Five years relevant work experience required.



General knowledge of state and federal HR laws and practices.



Broad knowledge of general Human Resources principles, policies and procedures.





WORK ENVIRONMENT



Requires continuous visual ability for use of computer and reports.



Requires stooping, bending and minimal lifting.





WORK SCHEDULE



Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.



Includes 60-min unpaid lunch.
