Job Summary
Under the minimal supervision of a manager or director and according to established policy and procedures, the Business Systems Technical Analyst demonstrates knowledge of ERP system/software design, build, test, support and performs complex system analysis, design, integration, testing, implementation, maintenance and planning of assigned applications and/or projects. Directly interacts with assigned department managers and staff to provide automation services in support of department's strategic and operational objectives. Plans, coordinates, develops and provides appropriate training for managers and users. Ensures development of training materials, production of continuity workbooks, documentation of standard operating procedures and user checklists. Serves as the contact and liaison with user community and vendor. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of NGHS. Participates in department and hospital task forces, focus groups and/or committees as assigned by their supervisor to meet the group objectives. This position is accountable for developing and sharing knowledge with other members of IT and operations, and mentoring Analysts. The Business Systems Technical Analyst position is responsible for providing system-level support for various business applications, currently including the Infor Lawson ERP application, as well as technical project management. System-level support includes installation, configuration, maintenance, training, reporting and production support for business ERP applications, currently including the Infor Lawson application. This position works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation and knowledge with the application. The Business System Technical Analyst may provide leadership for other team members as well as the business units, technology teams and support teams. This position will support the business objectives of the hospital as well as the delivery of safe patient care and services. This position, with the approval of the Manager and Director of Business Applications, has the ability to be 100% remote employment
Minimum Job Qualifications
Licensure or other certifications:
Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree
Minimum Experience: Six (6) years with information systems, implementation, change management, application process or testing solutions for information systems implementation. Two (2) years using ORACLE and SQL commands. Experience with design and process documentation. Experience with unit testing IT applications. Experience providing ERP subject matter expertise in industry, process, or technology areas. Effective communication skills to interact with different clients
Other: In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree: An additional four (4) years of relevant ERP technical experience can be substituted
Preferred Job Qualifications
Preferred Licensure or other certifications: Any (Microsoft/Oracle/MySQL) SQL developer certifications, or any ERP certifications (Lawson, Workday, Oracle)

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
Works collaboratively with system users, technical staff and other groups and vendor support resources in solving complex problems.
Performs installation, configuration, maintenance, training, reporting and production support for business applications, currently including the Infor Lawson application.
Works with project managers and teams in implementations of new systems, system upgrades and enhancement of current system functionality.
Monitors and collects data on system performance.
Analyzes, detects, identifies and corrects technical problems and deficiencies.
Develops and executes a standardized methodology for testing major system functions before system changes/upgrades are moved to the production environment.
Develops and maintains support manual material related to implementation of system changes like routine updates, troubleshooting, issue resolution and product enhancements.
Coordinates resources as appropriate on user requests for changes, enhancements, additions, etc., to ensure feasibility, quality and appropriateness for the system involved.
Develops an understanding of customer operations/department operations and systems.
Facilitates reporting information from source systems using the most appropriate to support achievement of department and organizational goals.
Provides exceptional customer service to external/internal requests.
Provides on call support to end users and the ITS department.
Provides Department leaders with effective redesign of processes.
Elicits requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis.
Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstracts up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
