Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Superintendent with10 years of industry experience. The ideal candidate has a strong commercial background. You must be a proactive go-getter who excels at pushing schedules, developing project timelines, and holding others accountable-all while maintaining a diplomatic approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret plans and specifications with proficiency, ensuring thorough understanding without reliance on a Project Manager.
• Develop, manage, and push project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with the project team to maintain efficient workflows and adherence to deadlines.
• Hold team members accountable for their tasks, ensuring high standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize software tools such as Procore, CMIC, Microsoft Word, Excel, Office 365, and Microsoft Project for scheduling.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and communication.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, or a related field is not a must but a plus.
• 10 years of experience in commercial construction management.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Strong ability to develop and manage project schedules.
• Hands-on experience with Procore, CMIC, Microsoft Project, and other relevant software.
• OSHA 30 certification is a significant plus.
• Soil Erosion Blue Dirt Card and CPR certification are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team-no solo players.
