Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for a paralegal to support our highly-respected and growing regional law firm client. We are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to support their Atlanta, GA office. Role does offer a hybrid worksite potential after a training period fully in office. If you are professional, motivated, organized, and possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, we want to hear from you!

Essential Functions:

  • Open, organize and close files

  • Review and summarize medical records

  • Prepare various acknowledgement letters to clients, insured, and commission

  • Scan and log documents into case management software (pleadings, Commission filings, clocked forms, etc.), docket specific deadlines and tasks for attorney(s)

  • Coordinate IMEs and request medical records

  • Prepare settlement documents

Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree and/or certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program

  • 2 or more years of experience supporting attorneys in a workers’ compensation practice

  • Advanced technology skills and ability to learn new software

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills, including excellent writing and editing

  • Positive, team oriented attitude

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
