Position: Tax Senior

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior to join our team of tax professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax management and hold a CPA certification. The Tax Senior will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning for various clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and provide valuable tax advice and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
  • Perform tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
  • Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information and address any tax-related inquiries
  • Manage and develop relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service
  • Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support
  • Assist with tax audits and other tax-related projects

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification not required but preferred
  • Strong knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, business, trust, gift, estate, NFP tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, 1041)
  • Experience with tax planning and tax research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
