General Description and Classification
Provides administrative and technical support to the Data Reporting Analyst and the broader department. Assists in the preparation and organization of reports by gathering data from various sources, including enterprise systems, spreadsheets, and databases. Supports the development of report formats and assists in the consolidation of data for analysis. The Support Services Specialist may also handle other related administrative duties or operational tasks that support the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Supervision Received
Performs work under close supervision with regular guidance and direction from a Data Reporting Analyst or a senior-level professional. Tasks are generally well-defined, and the Specialist is expected to seek assistance as needed.

Essential Duties
Supports the Data Reporting Analyst by assisting in the maintenance and organization of operating records and databases. Ensures the accuracy and consistency of data through basic data validation and routine checks. Assists in identifying areas where processes or reports may lack necessary detail or accuracy and provides input for improvements. Helps prepare standard report formats by gathering and organizing data according to established guidelines. Assists in retrieving data from various information systems and compiles it into reports for review by senior staff.
The Specialist may also be responsible for generating basic reports, presentations, graphics, and forms to support departmental needs. Participates in internal projects by gathering data, organizing information, and summarizing findings. The role may involve creating visual aids or documents to support the presentation of information but typically does not involve making presentations to management. This position focuses on supporting the workflow and ensuring that the Data Reporting Analyst has the necessary resources and information to perform more complex analysis and reporting tasks.

Makes independent decisions concerning construction projects. Selects from multiple standardized procedures, written instructions, and methods to accomplish assignments.
