Professional Experience:
10+ years as an Oracle DBA with expertise in design, implementation, backup, recovery, monitoring, and performance tuning.
5+ years of experience with AWS database services, including RDS and Lambda, for automating database tasks using Python. Familiar with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and AuroraDB.
Proficient in high-availability database features, replication, disaster recovery, and managing live production schema changes.
Expertise in cloud technologies (S3, Route 53, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, AWS CloudWatch, AWS RDS, AWS Redshift, DynamoDB, Redis), version control (Git), and database lifecycle management.
Knowledgeable in database security, backup retention policies, and scaling databases.
Experience in full lifecycle management of database schema design and implementation, ensuring minimal downtime and no performance impact during changes.
Collaborated with customers, deployment teams, and product management to document use case scenarios.
Led data solution initiatives, establishing data standards and providing technical guidance to development teams on best practices and architectures.
Responsibilities:
Managed database automation in AWS using RDS and Lambda with Python.
