We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Records Data Entry Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering medical data into our systems, managing medical records, and assisting with archiving processes. This role requires fast and precise data entry skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry:

Accurately enter data into designated FOH Management Information Systems (MIS).

Ensure that all data is entered promptly and accurately to maintain up-to-date records.

Medical Records Management:

Review medical records and x-rays to ensure completeness and accuracy before archiving.

Prepare medical records and x-rays for archiving following established Medical Records Archiving Policies and Procedures (referencing Clinical Product Line Manual, Policies M.60, M.61, M.62, and FOH Archiving Guidelines).

Record Processing and Archiving:

Create, transfer, file, and prepare medical records and x-rays for processing or shipping.

Process requests for medical records and x-rays from Occupational Health Clinics (OHCs), agencies, or employees in a timely manner.

Communication and Coordination:

Communicate with OHCs and other stakeholders regarding medical records, archiving, retrieval, and storage issues.

Collaborate with other departments as necessary to ensure efficient records management and data entry processes.

Administrative Support:

Assist with other data entry and administrative duties as required to support the medical records team.
