Job description

My client is looking to bring on a Legal Assistant to their growing firm. The candidate must have litigation experience, trial preparation experience, and the ability to pay close attention to detail.

I'm working with a widely known global law firm with over 5,000 employees to bring on a Legal Assistant. The firm was established over 80 years ago and is still steadily growing across all areas.



Description

  • Provide administrative support to Partners and attorneys, including managing calendars, travel arrangements, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of attorneys' CLE credits to ensure compliance with state bar requirements and facilitate timely renewal of licenses.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits.
  • Prepare and process expense reports.
  • Stay up to date with legal developments and changes in procedures.

Profile

  • 5+ years of proven experience with litigation in a law firm setting.
  • Must have experience supporting attorneys with trail preparation (trial binder creation, etc).
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word; with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Must have E-Filing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have a high attention to detail.

Job Offer

  • Hybrid work environment; 3 days on-site and 2 from home.
  • Salary: $75K - 90K + great benefits (401K match, commuter benefits, etc.)
