Job description

The Financial Auditor will be responsible for leading, managing, and executing audits.

Our client is a financial services firm.

Description

  • Develop and implement audit plans and programs based on risk assessments and organizational needs.
  • Ensure audits are being conducted in accordance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Review their own audits, workpapers, and reports to share with senior management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders dependent on their audit engagements.
  • Communicate audit findings, reccomendations, and progress to clients or senior management.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised during the audit process.
  • Must be able to independently perform audits from beginning to end.

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant degrees.
  • Certifications such as CPA or CIA is preferred but not required.
  • 6-8 years of Internal Audit experience.
