Summary:
Job Title: Executive Assistant

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary: $30 - $40/Hr

SUMMARY

The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to senior leaders within the NCIPC/DOP, including Deputy Directors and Associate Directors. This role is critical for managing executive schedules, coordinating high-level meetings, and facilitating effective communication across the division.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage executive calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel logistics.

Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for executive-level meetings.

Serve as the liaison between senior management and internal/external stakeholders.

Handle confidential information and communications with the utmost discretion.

Organize and manage logistics for meetings, including venue arrangements and teleconferencing setup.

Draft and edit correspondence, including emails, memos, and official documents.

Monitor and prioritize emails, calls, and other communications requiring executive attention.

Assist in preparing and managing expense reports and budget documentation.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in executive-level support.

Minimum of 5 years of experience providing administrative support to senior

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

No Supervisory work for this position but may oversee the work of other administrative staff and provide guidance on best practices.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primarily office-based at the CDC Chamblee campus, with some potential for telework.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequently required to sit for extended periods and use office equipment. Occasionally required to lift or move files, documents, or supplies.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

Full-time, standard business hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility for early mornings or late evenings.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Regular commute to primary work location is not considered travel. Occasional travel may be required for conferences, meetings, or training.

CLEARANCE/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

Public Trust Level 5 clearance required.
