Director of FP&A

Client: PE-backed Growing Company

Location: Atlanta Metro Area

Travel Required: Minimal

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Position Overview:

Our client, a rapidly expanding PE-backed company, is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes while providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader looking to impact a fast-paced, growth-oriented company with the flexibility of a hybrid working schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all aspects of the FP&A function, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support business decisions and long-term strategic planning.

Partner with department heads and senior leadership to provide financial insights and drive operational improvements.

Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and making recommendations to optimize business outcomes.

Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.

Support M&A activity, capital planning, and other strategic initiatives.

Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and reporting systems.

Lead and develop the FP&A team, ensuring a high-performance environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in a PE-backed or high-growth company.

Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at the executive level.

Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary ranging from $170,000 to $190,000 per year, depending on experience.
