Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provides hand off support between the business and technical resources in application installation and maintenance of large scale applications
Ensures appropriate integration across an application suite
Ensures appropriate change management procedures are followed by all application teams
Works closely with application technical support to ensure appropriate tools are developed and technical issues are resolved
Uses established fact-finding procedures, knowledge of pertinent processes and procedures and in depth understanding of programming practices and software to provide required technical analysis of user problems
Identifies, isolates, and solves complex application programming and technical problems within production clinical and business systems
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Performs most tasks with minimal direction from management
Provides production support in a 7 X 24 Tier 1 environment
Must be able to lead and engage others in various IT tasks
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Mentors others
Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist
Performs related responsibilities as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
7 years of application systems/administration experience OR five years experience with a bachelor's degree. Must be able to lead, engage, and mentor others
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Must be proficient in three or more programming languages and/or application systems implemented in production
