Job description

Machinery Selection and Installation: Assessing the needs of the painting, metal framing, and drywall processes to determine the appropriate machinery required. Researching and evaluating machinery options available in the market, considering factors such as capacity, efficiency, and compatibility with existing processes. Overseeing the installation of machinery, ensuring proper setup and integration with other equipment. Maintenance and Repair: Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery used in painting, metal framing, and drywall operations. Conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues and performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement. Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions, diagnosing the root cause of the problem, and performing necessary repairs to minimize downtime. Upgrades and Modifications: Monitoring technological advancements and industry trends to identify opportunities for upgrading or modifying existing machinery. Collaborating with vendors or in-house teams to implement upgrades aimed at improving efficiency, productivity, or safety. Designing and implementing modifications to machinery to accommodate changes in product specifications or production requirements. Automation Integration: Evaluating the feasibility of incorporating automation technologies into painting, metal framing, and drywall processes to enhance efficiency and consistency. Designing and integrating automated systems such as robotics and material handling equipment to streamline operations. Programming and configuring automation systems to optimize performance and ensure seamless integration with existing machinery and processes. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that all machinery meets relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements. Implementing quality control processes and perform regular inspections. Conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures such as guards, sensors, and emergency stop systems to protect workers from hazards. Providing training and guidance to operators and maintenance staff on safe equipment operation and maintenance practices. Training and Support: Developing training materials and conducting hands-on training sessions for operators and maintenance personnel on the proper use and maintenance of machinery. Creating detailed technical documentation, including engineering drawings, schematics, and reports. Maintain accurate records of design changes and project progress. Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to address any issues or questions related to equipment operation. Serving as a subject matter expert and resource for all matters pertaining to the electro-mechanical aspects of machinery used in painting, metal framing, and drywall processes. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or similar or foreign equivalent. Please send resumes to Ramon Calderon at
