JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Assistant Manager for our Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams Outlet Store, you will lead and support a dynamic and motivated team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your role will emphasize a steadfast commitment to driving sales through coaching and setting the example for the rest of the team. You will coach and empower our teams to consistently make the right decisions to drive results through an exceptional customer experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coach, lead and develop the team alongside the General Manager.
  • Deliver top results with a positive attitude no matter what the obstacle
  • Uphold merchandising standards to create an exceptional customer experience
  • Be a champion for operational excellence
  • Analyze weekly and daily business goals to achieve successful results
  • Audit release of product to third-party delivery partners and customers
  • Represent the brand through polished communication, personal appearance and professionalism

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years management experience in furniture, retail, and/or multi-unit retail business environment
  • Superior organization and leadership skills
  • Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficient with current technology i.e. iPads, Mac, PC

PHSYICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines
  • Ability to maneuver effectively around sales floor and stockroom
  • Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
  • Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business.
