Summary Position Highlights: The Supervisor of Parking and Transportation is responsible for scheduling, annual appraisals, coaching and payroll review and correction for Fleet Services Techs, Shuttle Operators, Transportation Couriers, Couriers, and Drivers. Assists Manager with campus parking, valet and transportation functions as needed on a daily basis. This position will report directly to the Manager, Parking and Transportation and work with leaders of Laboratory, Pharmacy, Research, Food Services, Safety & Security, Patient Experience, Business Intelligence, Emergency Management and Service Response. Effectively manages numerous tasks and activities simultaneously. Establishes priorities and displays resourcefulness in the completion of daily tasks and special projects, creating a professional environment conducive to a smooth running operation. Represents and supports the mission, philosophy and goals of the Cancer Center. Responsibilities: Monitoring staff production, planning, coordinating, training and monitoring processes. Training and Leading Staff Provides leadership for Team Leaders and Aides and ensures adherence to policies, productivity standards, and safety guidelines. Responsible for managing daily operations, problem solving, and properly allocating staff including managing overtime hours. Responsible for orienting and training new hires and on-going training for existing team members. This includes demonstrations and presentations in huddles. Supervises parking programs relating to staff. Assists with day-to-day operations for parking, valet, internal and external shuttle operations, special events, etc. Credentials and Qualifications: Associate's degree is required. In lieu of a AA degree; two (2) additional years of experience are required. Minimum of three (3) year's parking & transportation operations or administrative or logistical services support experience required; inclusive of a minimum of one (1) year team lead, project lead or supervisory experience required. Florida Driver's License upon hire required. Evidence of a good driving record and maintain a good record per Moffitt policy. Preferred: Bachelor's degree. Five (5)+ years of multi-departmental logistical services support experience. Prior experience in a healthcare practice provider facility, laboratory system and/or hospital setting. Share:
