Senior-level Special Security Technician, Personnel Security Support - CENTCOM Location Florida, Tampa Department BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Employment Duration Full Time Celestar Corporation is seeking aSenior-level Special Security Technician (Personnel) supporting the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Directorate of Intelligence (J2) located at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida and at a variety of other locations throughout CONUS/OCONUS and the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).If interested and qualified, we welcome you to apply for this challenging opportunity. Responsibilities: • Assist in preparation, processing, and tracking personnel initial and periodic reinvestigations for Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Electronic Questionnaire. • Perform security in-processing of personnel, weekly SCI Indoctrination briefings, and security debriefings for the USCENTCOM. • In-processing duties include: verify security clearance eligibility, create Personnel Security Folders, provide appropriate indoctrination paperwork, create appropriate access badge with photo, update all security databases, schedule SCI indoctrination briefings as required, and maintain data on the security clearance investigations status. • Perform security out-processing of personnel. Out-processing duties include: debrief personnel when the need-to-know is no longer is required, terminate access to classified information, update all security databases, and reconcile Personnel Security Folder. • Monitor Defense Information System for Security (DISS) eligibility updates, DIA Record Message Traffic (RMT), and cross-reference multiple repository databases to include facilitating the transfer of records/info to IC databases for security clearance eligibility and access. • Receive input and process data, ensure data is current/accurate, and maintain databases used to process the security clearance levels of foreign nationals and the access to information/facilities. • Pass and monitor security clearances via DISS, DIA RMT, or fax and cross-reference multiple repository databases to include facilitating the transfer of records and information to IC databases, supporting USCENTCOM. Process notices of foreign travel/contacts and ensure applicable DISS or IC databases accurately reflect this data IAW with Adjudicative Guidelines. • Support the security clearance nomination process and assist with indoctrinations, permanent certifications, and the submission of Research/Recertify/Upgrade (RRU) requests for all aspects of the Command Industrial Security Program. • Receive input, process and maintain a current and accurate database of security clearances of Foreign Nationals and other personnel visiting or assigned to USCENTCOM. • Review, staff, process, and facilitate completion of taskers for the USCENTCOM J2 SSO. • Conduct training and educate the USCENTCOM staff on security standards. • Training includes Special Security desk-side briefings, Division SSO familiarization training, command Staff Orientation SSO brief, Marking Classified training, and MTT training (ad hoc training as required). Gather feedback and update training materials as required. Required Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. Desired Education : Master's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor's degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master's degree.
