Job description

LHH is seeking a litigation legal assistant with personal injury experience interested in a full-time, permanent job opportunity in Tampa, FL? You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofing correspondence and legal documents, including motions, pleadings, briefs, etc.; maintaining department records, both physically and electronically; calendaring; coordinating court dates and appearances; scheduling meetings with witnesses and other involved parties; legal research; and other tasks as assigned. You may also be responsible for administrative duties, such as coordinating travel, phone and e-mail support, word processing, maintaining files, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized multi-tasker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • 1 - 4+ year(s) of insurance defense litigation experience, personal injury experience a must.

  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat

  • Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, no-job-too-small mindset

  • Not remote

Salary: $55,000-$65,000/yr.
