Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC), headquartered in Tampa, FL, is North America's largest bulk liquid chemical carrier. Through a network of more than 100 terminals and facilities, we transport a broad range of chemical products and provide our customers with value-added transportation services.

Job Summary/ Objective:

Support the Senior Director of Business Operations in overseeing day-to-day operations, streamlining processes, and driving efficiency across multiple departments.

Essential Functions:

Oversight of the QRS National Account Manager and Customer Service Team. Work with the SR National Account Manager on day to day operations, strategic planning, and growth of the program.

Oversight of Regional R Stamp Director. Work with the R Stamp Director on Strategic planning and growth of the Operations.

Oversight of the Regional Registered Inspector Trainers. Work with the Trainers on day to day operations, strategic planning and growth of the program.

Assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies that align with company goals

Monitor and optimize daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow across departments such as customers, operations, accounting, marketing, etc.

Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, implementing best practices to enhance productivity.

Provide leadership and support to QRS managers, ensuring clear communication of expectations and goals

Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment

Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains

Assist in the preparation and management of operational budgets.

Monitor expenses to ensure they align with budgetary goals

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.

Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

Develop strategies to improve customer retention and service response times

Report to the SR Director on strategy, metrics, reporting, planning, team building and development, and networking strategies.

Education

High School Diploma Required

Bachelor's Degree preferred

5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the repair services industry.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities (Competencies)

Supervisory Responsibility:

Train and assess the performance of the Managers within the QRS Team. Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure the team's ongoing success.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Travel

Frequent travel to company shops within geographic regions specified.
