Job description
Overview:
Dental Care Alliance is currently seeking a Finance Operations Manager to assist the Finance VPs & CFO in providing financial leadership to both the enterprise and business unit/office level. Responsible for financial and operational analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost/profit improvement initiatives. Interact regularly with leadership and team members of Operations, M&A and Accounting to help analyze financials (actual vs. budget), prepare and analyze trends, and help identify potential cost savings opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain routine and ad hoc financial and operational reporting focused on identifying underlying business trends and work directly with local-level management and offices to identify opportunities for improvement.
Analyze financial and operational data, and develop financial models used to guide business decisions.
Prepare cost projections.
Lead large scale projects based on business needs.
Lead financial review meetings with management and operations.
Assist with monthly/quarterly financial close processes, including review of key metrics.
Lead annual budget process and implementation of monthly/quarterly forecasting for their division
Coordinate with the VPs and the executive team on long-term financial planning.
Contribute with pre and post-acquisition integration activities.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.
Ability to travel up to 30% and on short notice.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business required
Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting preferred
Qualifications/Training:
Minimum of Five (5) years related experience required; 7-10 years preferred
Multi-site health-care experience preferred
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Familiarity with financial and reporting systems (Host Analytics or other EPM solution knowledge)
