Position Description Transfer Programs FWS Student Worker Program Description: The Transfer Program Office supports all partnerships between SPC and other State Universities and Colleges. Through these partnerships we provide support, resources, and activities to the participating students. This support helps students stay on track while at SPC and provide a seamless transition to the partner institution. Position Description: This position will assist the Student Success and Transfer Coordinator, at Episervices (other campus options can be discussed depending on class schedule). This is a hybrid work environment, with some remote work and some in the office. The position has occasional need for attendance at virtual and on campus events. We are seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic and motivated student who can engage with students, staff and faculty at SPC and partner institutions. The candidate needs to feel comfortable with social media and conduct themselves in a confidential and respectful manner. In this role, you'll gain valuable experience in event planning, creating social media posts, marketing materials and leadership skills. You will have the opportunity for professional growth at SPC as well as connect and build relationships with SPC staff and faculty and our partner institutions. Qualifications: Be currently enrolled as a degree seeking student at St. Petersburg College Have completed at least 6 credit hours at SPC Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at time of application and maintain a term GPA of 2.5 and be in good academic standing with the St. Petersburg College FWS-Transfer Programs Role: Assist with Fuse Club events and student engagement Assist with recruiting new Transfer Program students (marketing materials, emails, information sessions) Create and upload flyers and other marketing materials to our Social Media Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) Attend occasional events associated with Transfer Programs Assist in organizing events associated with the Transfer Programs Organize swag bags for Transfer Programs events Connect students to appropriate resources for their Transfer Program Assist with other projects as needed
