Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary Job Role

Under the direction of Apprentice Program Manager, RPC's Fundamental Training Instructor(s) delivers and facilitates instructor-led foundational courses for all Ring Power technicians, primarily supporting RPC's Apprentice Program. Travels regionally to deliver or attend instructor-led training.

Monitors learner performance during class instruction and reports progress to appropriate managers.

Updates and maintains training records for technician apprentices and other learners in EDGE and applicable manufacturer learning management systems.

Ensures viable workspace within classroom and labs. Updates, maintains, and repairs assets relating to instructor-led courses when necessary.

Coordinates and facilitates performance evaluation meetings with members of the technician apprentice team.

Obtains and maintains required manufacturer instructor credentials.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience

Formal Education High School diploma or GED

Experience 5-6 years

Required / Credentials

Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

Computer skills, Microsoft power point, Excel and Windows based operating system.

Communication and presentation skills, ability to deliver content effectively.

Valid Driver's License

Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria

Professional licensing in a related field (Master/ License accredited through state.)

Certification in related field.

Applicable manufacturer's factory training, technical training (electronic or diesel college, Think Big, CIAP), knowledge of NGEA (Next Generation Electrical Architecture), Tier 4 emissions, or air conditioning certification, MACS.

Updating of Knowledge

Job requirements change requiring re-training to stay current every 1-2 years.
