Responsibilities:
Job Summary
Administrates and supervises the daily management of the treatment program, its patients and staff. Responsible to ensure and provide effective patient care. Assures all administrative regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assumes primary clinical responsibility for detox and rehab units
Provide clinical supervision for staff such as: de-escalation with patients, consultation regarding clinical issues
Demonstrates the ability to maintain positive interrelationships with multidisciplinary team members, family members and other resources
Conduct initial job interviews for Rehab and Detox Counselor positions. Complete performance evaluations in a timely manner
Coordinate internships
Work closely with nursing supervisor to stay apprised of issues on the units and assist to manage any behavioral issues
Provide behavioral health therapy/consults
Complete monthly monitors for QTC
Conduct random chart review to ensure compliance
Facilitate quality improvement initiatives
Maintains clinical presence on units and assists counseling staff to manage any clinical issues
Keep VP of Clinical Services apprised of situations within the hospital
Participates in clinician on call rotation
Provides clinical services including assessment, treatment planning, and group facilitation as needed for coverage
Schedule monthly CME's with trainings reflecting needs of staff
Consistently arrive for work on time and adhere to attendance policies

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Master's Degree (required)
Licensed (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPCI, LCDC) (preferred)
Military or correctional background preferred
Experience working in addiction recovery environment
Leadership experience
