Job description

Summary:

The Lead Licensed Clinician will provide direct services to clients, including assessments and treatment plans. They will provide supervision responsibilities while on site when a Supervisor or Clinical Director are not on site. The practice will start credentialing process prior to start date to ensure candidates can see clients starting within two weeks of job acceptance

Essential Duties:
Maintains weekly scheduled appointments in our electronic records systems
Provide therapeutic services to patients and their families
Provides a professional atmosphere for staff and support when supervisors are not on site.
Completes required documentation and paperwork including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
Discuss progress toward goals and objectives, such as medication regimen, family relationships, educational programs, social development, discharge plans or other behavioral problems, with clients.
Responsible for carrying a clinical caseload, either online via secured HIPPA Compliant Telehealth platform or face to face at our organization, while maintaining required productivity level as detailed by the Clinical Director.
Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment to clients
Demonstrates commitment to the philosophy of the agency
Maintain case load of minimum of 25 clients weekly for full time, and minimum of 5 clients per day. For part time a minimum of 8 clients per week.

Supervisory Responsibility:
The incumbent in this position does not have supervisory responsibility. However, he or she may be expected to provide leadership and instruction to less experienced staff
Licensed Clinical Therapists are required to meet with the Clinical Director, on a monthly basis, to review treatment planning and coordination of care for patients. Specific treatment interventions are planned and implemented by the therapist, independently. Situations in which clients are not responding to treatment are to be reported to the practice owner. Unethical or illegal issues, and/or any perceived threat to clients or other individuals are to be reported to the practice owner immediately. Treatment records may be reviewed at any time.

Qualifications/Position Requirements:
Ability to pass a level two background check
Valid drivers license

Experience/Knowledge:

To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) from the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling
Knowledge and experience with evidenced-based practices, including trauma-informed care framework
Strong clerical/administrative skills including personal computer skills (Microsoft Office software)
Ability to make routine decisions and determine proper action based on experience within the limits of policy and procedures
Ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultures, ages, and economic backgrounds in a culturally competent and sensitive manner.
Demonstrates excellent verbal skills (essential to communicate clearly with clients and other staff members)
Ability to read and understand clinical reports and professional literature
Demonstration of licensure free from any record of ethics and boundaries sanctions or reports of any type of client abuse.

Education:

Master's Degree in Social Work or related field from accredited university. LCSW or LMHC in good standing in the state of Florida.
