Responsibilities:
As a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor for our second shift, your role is crucial in supporting our growing operations. You will oversee the effective and efficient maintenance of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are in top working condition. Your responsibilities include:

Supervision and Direction: Provide general supervision and guidance to the shop staff, ensuring that daily tasks are completed effectively and safely.

Work Management: Plan, schedule, and assign work to technicians, optimizing labor hours and ensuring timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.

Safety Oversight: Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all technicians.

Employee Training: Train and mentor technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring adherence to maintenance procedures and safety standards.

Diagnostics Support: Assist with diagnosing complex vehicle issues and provide technical support to the team.

Performance Monitoring: Oversee the performance of maintenance tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.

Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:
Technician Experience: Must have hands-on experience as a technician, demonstrating proficiency in vehicle maintenance and repair. ASE certifications preferred.

Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems, emission systems, transmissions, brakes, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

Leadership Experience: Previous experience leading a team is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to manage, mentor, and guide maintenance staff effectively.
