CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Engineer to join our Infrastructure - Water/Wastewater Team at our office in Coral Springs, FL.
YOUR IMPACT:
Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community's well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects. We offer full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.
The Construction Engineer is responsible for observing and documenting the construction of sewer and water systems, dams, and other structures and facilities. The professional in this role observes and monitors construction for conformance with contract documents and approved shop drawings/material submittals.
Our Construction Engineer coordinates construction activities with owner and Project Manager, as well as prepares and maintains project records. This individual develops and maintains a familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the firm's and client's practices, procedures, and standards.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required
Minimum of 1 year of engineering design or construction observation experience required
Bluebeam experience required
Able to comprehend construction documents and schedules
Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to understand and interpret client's contracts
Strong mathematical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Extensive travel may be required
NICET Level II certification preferred
Valid Driver's License required
SALARY RANGE
$79,000 - $90,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
