Chinese Language Analyst
Pensacola, Florida
Day Shift, on-site
Cadence Coalition is looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated linguists to support this mission's objectives. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, have strong leadership skills, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.
Key Responsibilities: • Exhibit knowledge of computer architecture concepts, including operating systems, virtualization, etc. • Utilize expertise in target development, SIGDEV, and network discovery tradecraft. • Conduct in-depth analysis of Chinese language materials, including documents, emails, voice recordings, and online content. • Translate and interpret Chinese communications to identify and analyze potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities. • Monitor and track Chinese online forums and platforms to gather intelligence on emerging security trends and tactics. • Collaborate with the security team to perform risk assessments and develop proactive measures to mitigate threats. • Provide linguistic support for incident response activities, including analyzing and summarizing Chinese language data for investigations. • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of Computer & Network Security and Chinese cybersecurity landscape. • Assist in the development and implementation of Chinese language tools and resources to aid in analysis and intelligence gathering.
Qualifications: • Active TS/SCI security clearance. • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, International Relations, Computer Science, or a related field • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages. • Strong understanding of computer networking concepts, such as IT addressing, routing/switching, etc. • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and draw accurate conclusions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: • A score of 2+ or higher on the Mandarin Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT)
