Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Foreman with a strong background in road building, underground utilities, wet utilities, paving, and land development. The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of foreman experience and be well-versed in DOT specifications, working across both public and private sectors. This is a key leadership role where you'll be responsible for overseeing project crews, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering successful results.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and lead construction crews on road building, underground utilities, wet utilities, and paving projects.
  • Ensure all work complies with DOT specifications and project requirements in both public and private sector projects.
  • Coordinate land development tasks, materials, and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Manage daily field operations including quality control, safety procedures, and troubleshooting issues that arise during construction.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and crew members to ensure a cohesive team effort.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports of daily activities, including materials used, labor hours, and project progress.
  • Oversee the use of heavy equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safety practices.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a foreman.
  • 5 years of experience in road building, underground utilities, wet utilities, paving, and land development project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of DOT specifications, including experience in both public and private sector construction.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and residential construction materials, methods, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in using computers for reporting and project management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring project deadlines and objectives are met.


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience with software such as Procore, AutoCAD, or other construction management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
