Job Title: Superintendent Airport Projects

Location: Florida

Pay: $90,000-$110,000

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in airport construction projects, particularly in runway lighting, small structures, and signage installation. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience leading teams of 46 and will be responsible for overseeing project coordination, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and engaging effectively with both the team and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Runway Lighting & Small Structures: Oversee and manage the installation of runway lighting and construction of small structures, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 46 construction professionals, providing guidance and support in all aspects of the project.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of the project, from planning to execution, ensuring that deadlines and safety standards are met.
• Signage Installation: Supervise the installation of signage in compliance with airport regulations and safety standards.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.

• Construction Expertise: A seasoned professional who has risen through the ranks in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of the practical aspects of the work.
• Hands On Leadership: Someone who is not afraid to jump into the fray, demonstrating and teaching skills like tying rebar or setting forms.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communicator capable of engaging in meaningful conversations and building rapport with team members and stakeholders.
