Position Overview:

Teddy Morse's Destination Daytona is currently looking for a Assistant Hotel Maintenance at the Clarion Inn in Daytona Beach, FL.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance in guest rooms, ensuring all equipment and amenities are functioning properly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Assist in general maintenance and repair of buildings and property as directed by the Chief Engineer.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliances within guest rooms and common areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and facilities to identify and address potential problems before they impact guest experience.
- Support the Chief Engineer with larger property maintenance tasks and projects, including building upkeep and repairs.
- Complete daily tasks as outlined by the Chief Engineer, prioritizing guest needs and safety.
- Maintain adherence to all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational needs, especially during peak events.

Qualifications:
2+ years of hotel or property maintenance experience.

High school diploma or Related degree from a technical college.

Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.

Experience performing routine maintenance.

Experince and/or training/certificates in HVAC, plumbing, or general maintenance skills preferred

Strong organizational and follow up skills.

Attention to detail.

Professional presentation and attitude.

Ability to maintain focus while working individually.

Strong time management skills.
