Job description

Telemetry and Flight Termination System (TM/FTS) Engineer to support JASSM production and development.
Primary responsibility will be to provide TM/FTS supplier component technical oversight to support ongoing qualification and/or lot acceptance tests and production deliveries.
Candidate will be responsible for communicating status and issues as well as recommendations to program.
Travel to supplier, production, and/or test locations will be required on an as needed basis.
Required Experience:
At least 4+ years of prior experience working with TM/FTS systems, RCC319 and Test Range Safety organizations.
46 years of Electronic Testing experience is required.
46 years of Mechanical Testing experience is required.
The role includes elements of requirements, design, analysis, integration, test, reviews, and safety coordination.
Candidate needs to be a selfstarter and have the capability of determining one's own tasking based on input from program.
Skills:
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience to manage external suppliers with a focus on requirements verification, technical performance, and schedule.
Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills to all management/junior levels is desired.
Demonstrated experience presenting at program/design reviews, technical reviews, and safety reviews is desired.
Source program is missile launched from airborne military platforms.
