Supply and Distribution Drivers may get a glimpse of giraffes when they deliver linens to the Animal Kingdom Lodge or hear the squeals of delight when supplying a restaurant near Hollywood Studios Runaway Train. Our drivers are Disney Cast Members, which means they're part of the team that helps people create memories that last a lifetime. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $26.23 per hour.

Schedule Availability:
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Schedules and start times are subject to vary.

Basic Qualifications

  • A valid Florida CDL Class "A" driver's license for at least one year
  • Experience with Manual Transmission a must - Our trucks are 10-speed tractor trailers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Perform pre-trip/ post-trip vehicle inspections and complete daily work sheet for equipment operated
  • Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
  • Recent tractor-trailer experience or experience driving commercial vehicles such as vans, straight trucks, etc
  • Ability to pass the Disney road test operating manual transmission
  • Ability to obtain one year valid DOT medical card from Disney's Health Services

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food and beverages to Walt Disney World restaurants
  • Deliver merchandise to company stores and all the other supplies needed
  • Make deliveries to the Parks and Resorts on any shift
  • Capable of working at a consistent pace and the ability to meet (or exceed) performance expectations
  • Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
