Job description

The Senior System Support Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Supply Chain/Maintenance functions within the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of data analysis, process improvement, and project management. The Senior System Support Analyst is responsible for managing large-scale data projects, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting stakeholders with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Problem Solving:

Analyze and interpret large datasets, including up to 1.7 million records, to identify issues and provide actionable insights within tight deadlines.

Conduct data conversions, utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., XLOOKUP), and present findings efficiently.

Act as the escalation point for complex issues that lower-level analysts cannot resolve.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Attend stakeholder meetings to gather objectives, propose solutions, and pitch ideas effectively.

Communicate findings and project updates clearly to various stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and resource for the Supply Chain/Maintenance team, providing guidance and support as needed.

Project Management and Process Improvement:

Lead and participate in projects related to software design, testing, implementation, and training.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document functional specifications, develop test scripts, and conduct system testing.

Training and Mentorship:

Provide support to the Training team in developing and delivering end-user training materials.

Technical Proficiency:

Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft tools, including Microsoft Planner, Visio, and other process mapping tools.

Utilize knowledge of process mapping, SWOT analysis, KPIs, OKRs, and other relevant methodologies to drive process improvements.

Support and Troubleshooting:

Handle calls from frontline support regarding urgent or complex issues, including audits and system errors.

Provide off-hours support as needed based on project activities.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

6+ months of project management experience.

1-2 years of experience as a trainer, team lead, or in a supervisory role.

Extensive experience in data conversions and working with large datasets.

Skills and Knowledge:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

Knowledge of process mapping, FTP transfers, and data report development.

Understanding of supply chain systems and operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Certifications (Preferred):

Six Sigma Green Belt or above.

CMRP, PMP, or other relevant certifications.

Pay Rate:

$42 - $55/ HR depending on experience

Additional Notes:

Up to 50% travel is required

This is a contract to hire opportunity

This role is 95% remote

This role offers a 4-day work week and 10-hour shifts - on-call for Fridays
