Job description
The Well-Being Navigator will build trust and rapport with Disney employees and leaders at their dedicated worksite to help facilitate culture change in all areas of well-being. This client-facing role will be onsite full-time with the ability to travel to any of Disney's properties at Disney's request. The navigator will serve as a wellness benefit concierge, providing referrals and education that support both emotional and physical well-being. The navigator is committed to addressing the employee's barriers to care including social determinants of health by helping the employees navigate and schedule all healthcare appointments or connect to community resources to meet their needs.
Qualifications
•
Temporary assignment from 12/2/24 - 3/2/25 ( this is to support maternity leave so the dates may shift slightly)
•
Spanish Bilingual to support Disney's employees (Cast Members)
•
Bachelor's degree in health education, health promotion, or health related field
•
Minimum of 2 years' experience in workplace health and wellness programming
•
Understanding and sensitivity to multi-cultural communities
•
Highly sociable and comfortable initiating conversations
•
Natural ability to connect with people
•
Work independently with little supervision
•
Ability to maintain member confidentiality
•
Organized, using internal resources to find answers
•
Strong team player, capable of accomplishing program goals
•
Schedule is Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm, but must be willing to work occasional evening and/or weekend hours as requested
•
Must reside local for a reasonable daily commute to Orlando, FL
Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
•
Proactive and responsive to employee needs in a friendly and professional manner
•
Provide referrals and social support to appropriate well-being resources, programs, and health care services
•
Connect to local services and community resources to address specific needs
•
Follow-up with employees on referrals to ensure individual needs have been met
•
Engaging thoughtfully to help individuals that don't know they need care or exactly what care they need
•
Complete required record keeping for tracking results and provide feedback on program goals and objectives in a timely manner
•
Schedule onsite Employee Assistance Program (EAP) appointments
•
Schedule telephonic coaching (for those eligible)
Wellness initiative campaigns communication
•
Meet with local leaders and offer to speak at their team meetings to help bring awareness to the Navigator role and other programming as needed
•
Distribution of collateral to local leaders, resource centers, and other areas
•
Nimble and flexible nature required to engage the evolving needs of the population
Skills
