Position Summary:

As the Nursing Operations Manager, you will lead and oversee operations for inpatient care units, ensuring the achievement of departmental and hospital goals through collaboration with medical staff.

Essential Functions:

Evaluate care environments to improve service quality and compliance with standards.

Plan, direct, and assess patient care delivery for optimal outcomes.

Foster a safe and reliable environment for patients and team members.

Participate in policy formulation and embrace workplace diversity.

Drive continual improvement in nursing and patient care standards.

Serve as a change agent, guiding teams through the change process.

Hospital Care at Home Functions:

Lead and oversee the virtual nursing unit.

Utilize TeleHealth technology for patient assessments and virtual visits.

Collaborate with the Advanced Care at Home team to deliver necessary in-home nursing care.

Qualifications:

Education/Training:

Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.

Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent graduate degree in a health-related field.

Licensure/Certification:

Current RN licensure in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional certifications may be required based on patient population.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years as an RN in an acute care setting and 1 year in a leadership role.
