Job Purpose : As a Therapist or Counselor at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose is to provide exceptional customer service, motivational interviewing, short-term counseling intervention and navigation through our system of care (or the community) for clients in need of our services.
Job Functions
The Care Management team will respond, provide short-term intervention, and connect individuals experiencing mental health related crisis in our community to the services they need.
This team will be available to respond to individuals who meet substance use diagnostic, DLA-20 and ASAM criteria and are referred primarily through our Access department, Mobile Response teams or CRC.
This team will be able to respond face-to-face and via telehealth in the community, to utilize assessment and motivational interviewing techniques, to provide short term crisis support/counseling and to connect the client to appropriate Aspire and/or Central Florida community resources, formulating an appropriate clinical disposition for the client in need of services.
It is important for staff to provide a trauma-informed customer experience while maintaining compliance with program commitments and regulations.
Additional internal functions include participating in regular staff meetings, interdepartmental communication. and consultation, and community engagement with stakeholders and resources.
Operational duties, such as generating additional documentation, data collection, reports, and diagnostics when necessary.
Collaborating with outcome evaluation processes and/or any other tasks requested by supervisor.
Most importantly, functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical & professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
Locations: Our current openings for therapists and counselors are in Orlando, Fern Park, and Melbourne.
Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)
Level II Background clearance
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire's insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1.
Masters Degree in MH Counseling, Clinical Social Work or Marriage & Family therapy
