Seneca Global Services, LLC is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated collaborative team member used to supporting a fast-paced working environment. The position is in-person on site at the government facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Execute a range of DevSecOps functions including creating and maintaining automation deployment and monitoring scripts, developing security controls and systems, managing virtualized assets, and configuring virtual and physical networks. Write and maintain scripts in various languages, ensuring configuration management of work products. Analyze and resolve real-world problems in line with corporate guidelines, DoD DevSecOps standards, and industry best practices. Ensure the stability, accessibility, and correct configuration of assigned technical systems and components. Oversee and support networked virtual and physical machines, software applications, security controls, and peripheral equipment. Assist software developers, integration, and test engineers, maintaining a lab environment with cybersecurity policies and procedures. Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues, analyze hardware and software functionality, and resolve problems within scope authority. Document and present performance records, audit and archive cybersecurity information, and update information security management systems and procedures. Support periodic scanning of lab machines and review and address findings such as anti-virus and application updates. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution. Minimum of Five years of relevant experience. U.S. Citizenship and a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance, as specified by the Government's Task Order. Proven experience in implementing DevSecOps, DevOps, or IT/Security automation across multiple teams. DoD Experience. Familiarity with cloud vendor best practices. Experience with VMware, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and AWS. Knowledge of private and hybrid cloud design, operation, monitoring, and deployment, including VMware vCenter, ESXi, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and AWS. Proficiency in managing Java enterprise web services and scripting languages for automation, administration, data collection, and reporting. Ability to design representative systems and conduct automated functional and performance tests. Experience with system and performance auditing, prioritizing tasks, and leading small technology projects. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey system-wide performance information and train others. Experience with Atlassian tools (Bamboo, BitBucket, Confluence, JIRA), Jenkins, Puppet, and Git. Familiarity with cloud vendor products and APIs including VMware, CentOS/RedHat, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Azure. Experience with Photon OS or similar container technologies, Java or C#/.Net development, Agile development processes, and web server-side scripting. Knowledge of Graylog, ELK, RMF, DIACAP, and NIST guidelines. Ability to assist others with certification guidance and support. Certifications are advantageous, or in-progress certifications are encouraged.
