About the company and Controller opportunity: This client is a well-established, 3rd generation family business. They have experienced high growth in the past couple of years. This company is a manufacturing/construction company that has large, national brand name customers.

We are seeking a qualified candidate for this Controller opportunity as there is an upcoming retirement of the outgoing Controller.

Key Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Manage and oversee the financial operations of a 60+ Million dollar construction/manufacturing company
• Work closely with project managers and senior management to provide accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures to monitor project costs, revenue, and overall financial performance.
• Own the payroll processing
• Monitor and analyze project financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for cost-saving measures.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and financial statements for senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial and accounting systems for the project.
• Manage AP and AR team
• Provide financial guidance and support for decision-making processes related to the project.
• Oversee the financial team and coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with project goals.

Preferred Qualifications of the Controller position:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related experience
• 3+ years of Construction/Manufacturing accounting (POC, WIP. etc)
