You will create and maintain project schedules for assigned programs while communicating schedule status with project representatives throughout the project life cycle. You will be responsible for developing integrated detail schedules incorporating all disciplines, contractors, and client activities. You will partner with various project management teams to review contractor baseline schedules and validate durations, logic ties, critical paths, and resource allocations across a multi-year facility planning strategy.

You will report to the Scheduling Manager.

What You Will Do
  • Build/develop project schedules in partnership with project management team.
  • Ensure accurate schedule information and reporting.
  • Support project team in strategic planning/scheduling sessions.
  • Develop construction schedules for moderate, component level projects.
  • Manage detailed project schedules throughout project duration.
  • Analyze contractor schedule submittals for appropriate level of detail and completeness.
  • Analyze contractor time extension requests, schedule impacts of Directives and Change Orders.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with core team members and clients.
  • Influence partners to make decisions involving their area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Basic knowledge of construction and project management processes.
  • Working knowledge of construction sequencing and developing schedules using Critical Path Methodology(CPM).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years in the commercial facilities construction industry.
  • Experience managing multiple construction project schedules.
  • Experience using scheduling software (Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project).

Education

Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
