Job Type Full-time Description Command Post Technologies, Inc. ("CPT") is seeking a Business Development/Capture Manager to lead key growth initiatives for customers in the Orlando market. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this individual will be responsible for maintaining the opportunity pipeline, executing the CPT opportunity capture process, developing a high probability of win (PWIN) identified opportunities, and growing business within the targeted market areas. Critical to this role is the ability to succinctly brief senior leadership on the status and next steps for opportunities in the developed pipeline as well as progress towards stated business goals and objectives. This individual will leverage customer and teaming relationships and personal experience to identify, assess and support the pursuit of opportunities. The candidate will be expected to identify gaps and emerging requirements, perform market and economic analysis, conduct business intelligence, design and execute formal capture plans, and monitor competitor activity for each capture. Candidates will support the development of the company strategy, as well as facilitate internal and external partnerships, and develop business plans and associated marketing assigned with each opportunity. Critical to this role is the ability to develop and oversee the required steps for targeted opportunities as well as succinct reporting on progress towards stated business goals and objectives. Responsibilities: • Manage and leverage resources to create, identify, develop, and qualify opportunities in order to achieve a robust and targeted opportunity pipeline aligned with corporate objectives. • Qualify identified opportunities through a thorough understanding of capability gaps, teaming potential, SOW size and scope, administrative requirements, and customer mission requirements. • Gather intelligence and building relationships with customers • Position the company for a successful proposal through a comprehensive capture plan with detailed milestones and events. • Understand, in great detail, customer requirements and key decision makers. • Develop the proposal strategy for handoff to the operations team for proposal development and submission. • Develop a keen understanding of competitors in the marketplace for each targeted opportunity. • Assist in guiding buying organizations by working with internal technical and program management teams to develop responses for requests for information (RFI), sources sought, market survey's, white papers, presentations, and capability summaries. Supporting the Director of BD during weekly updates for senior leadership. Requirements SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold (or be eligible to hold) a security clearance at the Secret level or above. US Citizenship is a requirement. • 5+ years of Industry (Federal Contractor) experience in business development and/or capture • Bachelor's degree in business or related subject • Experience with GovWin, Sam.Gov, and other government contracting search tools • Experience in supporting the proposal development process in a small business environment • Available to travel up to 25% per month within CONUS. • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications: • Relationships with relevant customer groups, e.g., TSMO, TRMC, ACC Orlando, PEO-STRI • Experience working in a Small Business • Shipley (or equivalent) trained as a Capture Manager • Former service in a Department of Defense organization • Experience using a CRM tool About Us: We are Command Post Technologies, Inc.
