We are currently seeking a PRN licensed CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT to join our team at our NICEVILLE, FL location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) are health care professionals responsible for treating individuals with mechanical and physiological impairments, functional limitations and other movement-related conditions under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist.

COTA's utilize techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability and obtain data related to the treatments provided, making modifications in selected treatments either to progress the patient as directed by the Occupational Therapist or to ensure client safety and comfort.

In addition, COTAs work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

State license to practice and any additional requirements by the state.
Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
