Duties You will use a database tracking system (e.g., SharePoint) to monitor materials and services. You will enter gain or loss documents into an online tracking system (e.g., Transaction Online Processing System TOPS ) for processing. You will assess requests for manpower or resources to determine the most efficient allocation. You will advise others on proposed reorganizations, realignment of functions, or staffing level changes. You will be subject to and must be able to satisfy the overseas requirements of the 26Jul12 DODI 1400.25 V1230: This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Applying DoD, Navy and MSC policy and procedures applicable to the Navy reserve program to manage personnel and other resources; 2) Conducting analysis of of complex functions and work processes (i.e. mobilization requirements for AFP personnel, logistical support of deploying Active Duty personnel) to negotiate solutions to for staffing recommendations; 3)Conducting studies to recommend solutions to procedural problems; and 4)Modifying work methods, organization structures, records, and files to improve program effectiveness and productivity of personnel when mobilized.
