Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule Grade: 110 Salary: $12.77 - $20.93 Hourly (Dependent on Qualifications) Department: Information Technology E-mail: ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non rotating 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed. Who May Apply? All persons legally authorized to work in the United States Responsibilities The IT Service Desk Representative is the first point of contact for all Municipal Information System requests. Via the Call Manager tool, answer incoming calls from internal departments. Using a documented triage of questions, the representative will be expected to answer general questions and to reassign any technical issues to the appropriate IT support team using our IT Service Management (ITSM) tool. Gather all pertinent information from our customers and document that information into the ITSM tool. Responsible for including any missing or required information on the ticket before passing on to an analyst. Responsible for resetting City Employee passwords for various systems. May be asked to be perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requires a High School Diploma or GED Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of experience A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire Other Information: Benefits The City offers an excellent benefit package that includes: Texas Municipal Retirement System - the City offers a 2 to 1 match.
