We are seeking a dynamic Traveling Assistant Project Manager based in Miami, FL, to oversee the construction of Wawa stores in the Mid-Atlantic region. This role requires travel and collaboration across multiple sites to ensure successful project completion.

Description

  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing the construction of Wawa stores in the Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure materials and schedules align with project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at each job site.
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and quality control standards.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Travel to job sites across the Mid-Atlantic region, managing day-to-day on-site activities and reporting to senior project managers.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management or construction, preferably with commercial projects.
  • Ability to travel frequently to various job sites in the Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and best practices in construction.
