Job description

Assist operations manager in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Evaluate recruitment and selection criteria to ensure conformance to professional, statistical, and testing standards, recommending revisions, as needed. Collaborate with managers to address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related matters. Coordinate and assist employees with information regarding new employee orientations, benefits information, workers compensation, accident reports, safety and compliance training, and human resources policies and procedures. Records sick leave, including short- and long-term disability, and medical/family medical leaves, in coordination with immediate supervisor of employees. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business administration or related field or foreign equivalent + 12 months of experience in the job offered and 12 months of experience in HR and recruitment in food and beverage industry or wholesale of food merchandise field.
