Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Audit Facilitation Manager to oversee and coordinate all federal, state, and agency examinations within our mortgage lending operation. This role requires an understanding of both mortgage originations and servicing and a proven track record in managing regulatory examinations and audits. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex examinations, ensuring compliance, and facilitating clear communication between examiners and internal teams. The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000, with an annual bonus.

Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC, and federal, state, and agency examiners.

Coordinate and manage all aspects of the audit examinations.

Prepare and organize requested documentation, evidence, and responses for examiners and regulatory agencies.

Stay current with changes in regulations and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance and proactive management of potential issues.

Facilitate the audit process by managing timelines to ensure that all audit requests are addressed promptly and accurately.

Develop and maintain comprehensive records of audit findings, recommendations, and resolutions.

Work with internal teams to implement corrective actions and enhance compliance measures.

Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance requirements and audit processes

Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies identified during the examinations

Track and report on the status of remediation efforts to ensure that corrective actions and responses to findings are completed promptly.

Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Minimum 2-5 years of mortgage lending experience, preferably in Compliance or Audit Facilitation.

High School Diploma or higher education preferred.

Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and agency regulations in the mortgage banking industry (Originations and Servicing preferred).

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Ability to identify and assess areas of risk.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with Encompass LOS a plus.
