Overview:
Position Summary:
Responsible for providing support to the Licensing and the Legal departments in a variety of functions specially related to the Company's legal licensing business. Under the direction of the Licensing Supervisor, resolves licensing and corporate filings issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle administrative and clerical tasks such as: answering phone calls; scheduling meetings; process daily mail, scanning of documents, filing, printing, invoices, check requests, reimbursement request and ordering supplies for the department.
Assist in preparing and completing licensing documents and filing of required reports to state regulators.
Under the supervision of the Licensing Supervisor prepare and file corporate jurisdictional forms for license entities.
Maintain records or licensing book for all licensed entities and employees (MLO).
Acts as liaison with branch offices regarding the maintenance of licenses and updates.
Track and maintain systems for surety bond requirements for licensed activities and licensed entities.
Maintain filing system for the Licensing Department.
Special Projects as assigned by the Licensing Supervisor and Staff or the General Counsel and Compliance Depts.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
Must have the ability to handle regulatory filings and records retention.
Must have solid organizational skills with knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices within a particular field.
Must have the ability to carry out pre-established guidelines and instructions to perform functions of the job.
Must have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Must have an Associate's Degree or its equivalent with 1-3 years of experience in the field with practical experience related to the area of governmental and regulatory compliance matters in finance, mortgage banking and general corporate matters.
Location:
This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite) based in our Coral Gables, FL office. We have existing team members based out of this location.
