The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located on-site at our Melbourne, FL office, with occasional overnight travel to our office in Fairfax, VA, and our contract manufacturing facility in Baltimore, MD. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description: The selected candidate will be responsible for assembling hardware, testing commercial components and subassemblies, performing system level integration and troubleshooting, and performing formal acceptance testing procedures (ATP) for complex systems that incorporate RF and digital circuit boards, components, and assemblies. Additional duties may include: Assembling and testing test fixtures and equipment,
Performing software installation and checkout procedures
Preparing or verifying drawings or technical data
Preparing instructional material for system operation and maintenance guides The selected candidate will trace test failures and issues to root causes, develop recommendations to improve the efficiency and quality of integration and testing processes, and provide reports on task status, issues and expected completion schedule to the technical lead and the program manager. The selected candidate will also provide support in various administration duties. Basic Requirements US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement
SECRET security clearance, due to contract requirement
5 years experience working on development, integration and/or test of complex, integrated C4ISR systems
3 years experience working on development, integration and/or test in a Linux/Unix environment
3 years hands on experience using a signal generator, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscope Preferred Qualifications TOP SECRET/SCI clearance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to interact efficiently with peers and customers
Experience with signals intelligence (SIGINT) or related systems
Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience
Experience developing test fixtures and/or software, using C, C++, Python, Matlab, and/or LabView
Experience in reading system wiring and layout drawings using tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Visio and/or AutoCAD
Proficiency with developing, maintaining, and using spreadsheet data in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data collection, analysis, and tracking - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
